The pianist Kateryna Tereshchenko comes from a family of musicians in Ukraine. She studied with Borys Fedorov at the Lysenko Music School in Kyiv and from 2007 to 2009 with Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts (Master Specialized Music Performance – Soloist).
From 2011 to 2013 she was a student of Ulrich Koella (Master Specialized Music Performance – Chamber Music – Lied). In 2011 and 2012 she was awarded the study prize of the Migros Kulturprozent Competition Zurich.
From 2013 to 2016 she was a member of the Orchestra Academy at Zurich Opera House. Numerous concerts as a soloist (piano recitals and concerts with orchestra, as a chamber musician in various formations and as a voice accompanist) have taken Kateryna Tereshchenko to Ukraine, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Argentina and Switzerland.
Since 2019, she has been employed as an accompanist (PreCollege Music Department) at the Zurich University of the Arts.
