Rino Yoshimoto, violin
Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto makes her solo debut in 2019 at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus. A master of a vast repertoire, she has performed with orchestras in Japan, China, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, the United States and Italy. In 2021, she makes her solo debut at the Konzerthaus with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. A year later, she made a successful tour of Spain with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra as soloist. In the same year, 2022, she made her debut in the golden hall of the Vienna Musikverein with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. Ms Yoshimoto is currently a student of Professor Michael Frischenschlager at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts and of Professor Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. Renowned for her phenomenal musicality, Rino Yoshimoto is the winner of numerous international violin competitions: the Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition in 2022, the Isaac Stern International Violin Competition in Shanghai in 2020, the International Johannes Brahms Competition 2017-19 and the 16th Padua International Music Competition ‘Premio Città di Padova’ in 2018.
Takumi Nozawa, viola
Born in Japan in 1994, Takumi Nozawa began his violin studies at the age of four. In 2012, he was admitted to the Tokyo University of the Arts, where he studied violin with Natsumi Tamai. At the age of 21, he obtained his master’s degree in viola with the Acanthe Prize from the Tokyo University of the Arts. He continued his training at the Haute École de Musique de Genève under Miguel da Silva. He has received invaluable advice from renowned artists such as Aki Saulière, David Quiggle, Raphael Bell, Yuko Mori, Heiichiro Oyama and GáborTakács-Nagy. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Nagaokakyo Chamber Music Ensemble. In 2020, he was admitted to the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth as artist in residence in Miguel da Silva’s class.
Yoon Soo Yeo, cello
Yoonsoo Yeo was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2001. He started playing the cello at the age of eight. In 2007, he moved to South Korea where he studied with Myung-Wha Chung at the ‘Korea National institute for Gifted in Arts’ since 2013. From 2017, Yoonsoo continued his musical studies by moving to Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia where he studied with Peter Wiley and Carter Brey.
Yoonsoo has participated in numerous competitions and festivals. He won the ‘Antonio Janigro international cello competition’ (2014) along with two special prizes. At the same year, he also won the ‘Schoenfeld international cello competition’.
He took part of the Kronberg cello festival 2016 where he received ‘Frans Helmerson prize’. He was also selected twice as a rising star, andwon the concerto competition at the GMMFS (Great mountain music festival and school). Yoonsoo was invited by “Ensemble Ditto Festival” as the youngest guest artist. He also participated at the ‘Gstaad Menuhin festival’, and ‘Carl Flesh Academy’ where he was recently awarded ‘Gastgeber prize’.
As a soloist, Yoonsoo had his first recital at Kumho art hall in 2013. He had his Seoul Arts Center debut in 2018. He has performed with number of orchestras including Suwon Philharmonic orchestra, DYC symphony orchestra, Millennium symphony orchestra, Ulsan symphony orchestra, Baden-Baden symphony orchestra, GMMFS orchestra etc,.
