It is always a great pleasure to welcome soloists from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel to Crans-Montana.
The Music Chapel was founded in 1939 by two strong personalities, Queen Elisabeth, a violinist keen to help young talents, and Eugène Ysaÿe, one of the greatest violinists and composers of his time. Both wanted to support emerging artists through a highly specialized school and an international competition. The facilities house young artists in residence in order to provide them with high-level training and prepare them for the stage.
The Bulgarian-Belgian violinist Yossif Ivanov, gold medalist of the great Competition of this Institution will guide young and already accomplished artists.
