Frank Braley, piano - Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel soloists
To commemorate the memory of Count Bernard de Launoit, President of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, a great alpinist and tireless promoter of the arts, we will be welcoming an ensemble of gifted young soloists in residence at the Chapel. Frank Braley, their piano master, and our musical director Michael Guttman on violin will join them in a programme 100% Belgian: the piano quartet by Guillaume Lekeu, a genius who died at the age of 24 in 1894, and the powerful piano quintet by his master, César Franck.
