Neuma Quartet made their debut in April 2022 performing with Leonora Armellini at the opening concert of 21st Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition. Although the Quartet is playing for just 2 years so far, they have won 3rd prize in the 2nd Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition in Poland, they advanced to the semifinal of the Carl Nielsen International Competition in Denmark and played many occasional concerts in Poland, Netherland, Denmark and Germany.
The ensemble is actively participating in projects and festivals such as Musethica International, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Zeist Music Days and Masterclass, collaborating with Jerusalem Quartet, Schumann Quartet, Avri Levitan, Ida Bieler and Andrej Bielow.
The objective of the Neuma Quartet is to popularize Polishchamber music and to bring the less-known, but not less important music to the stages of cultural institutions, universities, academies, schools, and students’ communities around the world.
